4-WHEELING @ JOHNNY PARK ROAD
Saturday June 21st, 2025

Hi everyone! You’re here because you want to go 4-Wheeling on Saturday June 21st 2025 and you need all the info. Here’s how it’s all going to go down!

FIRST, CHOOSE YOUR RIDE!

Based on the size of your party, you can choose between a 2 or 4-seater vehicle. Each vehicle has a GPS map installed with waypoints to help guide you along.

4-Seater: $400 | $100 per person

2-Seater: $300 | $150 per person

WHAT TO KNOW

THE OUTFITTER:

This event has been reserved through Backbone Adventures. They’ve graciously extended a fantastic group rate for us and are the most reputable outfitter on the Front Range.

I need each participating party to call Backbone Adventures at 970-235-5045
Mention you’re part of the “Schulman Party on 6/21” to secure your vehicle reservation.

Please make your reservation before May 5th, 2025.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dusty, muddy or dirty. The water holes you may run into won’t be deep enough to fill the vehicle, so you don’t have to worry about getting soaked.

  TIMELINE

Backbone Adventures Main Office | 1851 North Lake Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517

10:30-11:00am

Please arrive promptly at 10:30am!

At the office, each party will finalize their rental by signing waivers, purchasing optional insurance ($50), choosing a helmet and attending a short training session. This process usually takes about 20 minutes. Note: All drivers over 18 must bring a valid drivers license.

On your way out of the office, you’ll be provided with a QR code that will give you directions to the trailhead which is about 25 minutes South of Estes Park. You can expect to arrive at Johnny Park Road anywhere between 11:00-11:30am.

11:30am - 12:15pm

Before the ride, we’ll be grilling up burgers and dogs at my truck! Then, you’ll get checked into your vehicle and be off and on your way!

12pm - 3pm

Johnny Park Trail

Everyone will have 3 hours to explore and traverse approximately 15 miles (out and back) of terrain ranging from rocky climbs to smooth straight aways and (possibly) water holes.

At the end of Johnny Park Road, there is a rocky, rooty hill-climb (Parachute Hill) leading to a lookout point with views of Longs Peak. This will be the turnaround point.

Myself and two friends will be riding alongside you all on dirt bikes, helping spot your way up some of the obstacles and grabbing photos throughout the day.

At a reasonable pace, everyone should be able to reach this point with enough time to return to the parking lot by 3pm. Once there, you’ll each return your vehicles and helmets and head home.

This just about covers the day! If anyone has any questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly.
303.520.1213 or andy.schulman@gmail.com

I’ll be following up with you each individually before May, 5th.

IF YOU NO LONGER WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT,
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!
